This is an advanced brightfield, darkfield and polarizing metallurgical microscopy system with 5MP USB2.0 digital image system that is compatible with compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8, Mac OS X and Linux. The microscope comes with a quintuple nosepiece, five infinity Plan objectives and a powerful 100W reflected Kohler illumination system, providing brightfield, darkfield and polarizing features. It offers nine metallurgical magnification settings (50X, 100X, 125X, 200X, 250X, 500X, 1000X, 1250X & 2500X). The color digital image system captures 5MP high resolution microscope images and displays them as full-screen live videos on your computer screen. Its built-in reduction lens gives your computer screen the same field of view images as those seen through the microscope eyepieces. With the included user-friendly software, you can process and edit microscope images in a manner similar to PhotoShop. You can capture still images, record videos, and stream live videos on your PC or Apple computer. You can make measurements across images for lengths, angles, areas, etc. and save them in BMP, TIFF, JPG, PICT, PTL or other formats.
