This is a trinocular stereo zoom microscope with a compact stand with 12" pillar. The stand's base has an extended, beveled front edge for comfortable hand placement. The microscope incorporates all the most excellent features of a high quality laboratory instrument. Designed to meet the demands of modern microscopy applications, this microscope exceeds all expectations. It comes with SUPER widefield optics and basic table stand. This microscope offers high resolution and good depth within a broad field of view. It provides crystal clear sharp stereo images with a 4" (100mm) native working distance. Its 45 degree inclined ocular tubes ensure an easy observation and rubber eyeguards provide further comfort. Its trinocular port enables you to add photo or video capability.
The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. With 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X wide-field eyepieces provide an ample magnification range from 7X to 45X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles.
This microscope is useful for many applications. It can be used in gemology, geology, forestry, archaeology, agriculture and biology. It is appropriate for educational purposes in hospitals and schools. It is great for the exploration of the world of surface details and fine structures of various materials like wood, metal, solder, semiconductor and gemstone. It is perfect for the examination of insects, plants, rocks, stamps, coins, jewel, soldered points, microelectronic components, circuit boards or virtually any three dimensional objects. This scope is an ideal tool for research labs, gemologists, collectors, engravers, watchmakers, jewelers, dies-makers, philatelists, and anyone in semiconductor or electronic industry.
This microscope comes with a 1080p multifunction camera which can be used to record directly while streaming images to a monitor or TV, or with a computer. Connected to an HDMI monitor or TV, 1080p live video can be viewed at a super-smooth 60fps, while recording directly to a Secure Digital card at 25fps. The included USB mouse allows you to make adjustments in the internal software for settings such as white-balance and exposure. Optionally, a companion HDMI monitor can be attached directly to the camera, creating a self-sufficient turnkey system.
As an alternative solution, connect the camera to a computer via USB for remote software control. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.
This package includes a powerful 150W illuminator with dual fiber-optic goosenecks. The incandescent light-source projects ultra-bright, full-spectrum light which is channeled through dual 22" gooseneck fiber-optic light-guides. This allows you to use two sources of direct lighting from virtually any angle. The flexible, heavy-duty metal-sheathed guides will hold up to heavy use in your workshop, factory, or lab without worry of crimping or breaking. The light-source is equipped with an active cooling system and an auto-shutoff circuit to avoid overheating in strenuous environments.
