This is a binocular stereo zoom microscope with a precision track-stand. It incorporates all the most excellent features of a high quality laboratory instrument. Designed to meet the demands of modern microscopy applications, this microscope exceeds all expectations. It comes with SUPER widefield optics and offers high resolution and good depth with in a broad field of view. It provides crystal clear sharp stereo images with a 4" (100mm) native working distance. Its 45 degree inclined ocular tubes ensure an easy observation and rubber eyeguards provide further comfort. Its trinocular port enables you to add photo or video capability.
The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. with 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X wide-field eyepieces provide an ample magnification range from 7X to 45X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles. A 0.5X Barlow lens is included, which can be mounted to the objective housing to halve the magnification range to 3.5X-22.5X. This also increases the working distance. The combined magnification ranges provide 3.5X-45X.
This microscope is useful for many applications. It can be used in gemology, geology, forestry, archaeology, agriculture and biology. It is appropriate for educational purposes in hospitals and schools. It is great for the exploration of the world of surface details and fine structures of various materials like wood, metal, solder, semiconductor and gemstone. It is perfect for the examination of insects, plants, rocks, stamps, coins, jewel, soldered points, microelectronic components, circuit boards or virtually any three dimensional objects. This scope is an ideal tool for research labs, gemologists, collectors, engravers, watchmakers, jewelers, dies-makers, philatelists, and anyone in semiconductor or electronic industry.
This microscope comes with an HDMI-capable digital camera, delivering 1080p video up to 60fps, and 5MP still images. The highly-sensitive digital sensor makes this camera ideal for low-light applications, including dark-field and fluorescence. Able to be used as a standalone recording device using Secure Digital memory, or as a WiFi camera on a networked computer, this is an extremely flexible imaging solution.
Connected to an HDMI monitor or TV, 1080p live video can be viewed at a super-smooth 60fps. The included USB mouse allows you to make adjustments in the internal software for settings such as white-balance and exposure, and control recording functions. As an alternative solution, connect to the camera over WiFi for remote software control, with 25fps streaming. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. with the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.
This package includes a powerful 150W illuminator with a ring-light and dual fiber-optic goosenecks. The incandescent light-source projects ultra-bright, full-spectrum light which is channeled through either of the included fiber-optic attachments. The dual 22" gooseneck light-guides allow you to use two sources of direct lighting from virtually any angle. The 35" ring-light attachment provides the smoothest ring of encompassing overhead illumination when attached to the microscope's objective housing. The flexible, heavy-duty metal-sheathed guides will hold up to heavy use in your workshop, factory, or lab with out worry of crimping or breaking. The light-source is equipped with an active cooling system and an auto-shutoff circuit to avoid overheating in strenuous environments.
