This is a trinocular stereo zoom microscope with a pillar-stand with extra-large base. It incorporates all the most excellent features of a high quality laboratory instrument. Designed to meet the demands of modern microscopy applications, this scope exceeds all expectations. It comes with SUPER widefield optics and super large stand. This microscope offers high resolution and good depth within a broad field of view. It provides crystal clear sharp stereo images with a 4" (100mm) native working distance. Its 45 degree inclined ocular tubes ensure an easy observation and rubber eyeguards provide further comfort.
The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. With 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X and 15X eyepieces are included, as well as a 2X Barlow lens to provide an expanded magnification range from 7X-135X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles.
The microscope also features a switched trinocular photo port for attaching an imaging device without the need to replace one of the eyepieces. The photo port is especially useful for attaching a video-capable camera for a live video stream that can be projected on a television or monitor. AmScope unmatched lineup of cameras offers endless possibilities, including computer-based imaging and measurements, time-lapse capture, and Wi-Fi or LAN networking.
This microscope is useful for many applications. It can be used in gemology, geology, forestry, archaeology, agriculture and biology. It is appropriate for educational purposes in hospitals and schools. It is great for the exploration of the world of surface details and fine structures of various materials like wood, metal, solder, semiconductor and gemstone. It is perfect for the examination of insects, plants, rocks, stamps, coins, jewel, soldered points, microelectronic components, circuit boards or virtually any three dimensional objects. This scope is an ideal tool for research labs, gemologists, collectors, engravers, watchmakers, jewelers, dies-makers, philatelists, and anyone in semiconductor or electronic industry.
This microscope comes with an HDMI-capable digital camera, delivering 1080p video up to 60fps, and 2MP still images, even in low light. The highly-sensitive digital sensor makes this camera ideal for low-light applications, including darkfield and fluorescence. Able to be used as a standalone recording device using Secure Digital memory, or as a Wi-Fi camera on a networked computer, this is an extremely flexible imaging solution.
Connected to an HDMI monitor or TV, 1080p live video can be viewed at a super-smooth 60fps. The included USB mouse allows you to make adjustments in the internal software for settings such as white-balance and exposure, and control recording functions. As an alternative solution, connect to the camera over WiFi for remote software control, with 25fps streaming. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.
This package includes a powerful 30W LED illuminator with a fiber-optic gooseneck. The energy-efficient light-source projects bright, daylight-balanced light which is channeled through a 22" gooseneck fiber-optic light-guide. This allows you to project light from virtually any angle, targeting specific details of the object being viewed. The flexible, heavy-duty metal-sheathed guides will hold up to heavy use in your workshop, factory, or lab without worry of crimping or breaking. The light-source is equipped with an active cooling system which is much quieter than comparable incandescent illuminators due to the lower heat level generated by LEDs.
