This is a trinocular compound microscope designed for biological applications. Ideally suited for classrooms, clinics, and entry-level research, the microscope features high-grade achromatic optics, including 4 objective lenses (4X, 10X, 40X, 100X) and 2 pairs of eyepieces (10X, 16X). The expansive 40X to 1600X magnification range covers the majority of biological subjects.
The Siedentopf head provides compensation-free interpupillary-adjustment, and a diopter allows for correction of ocular-disparity. The trinocular photo-port is designed for both 23mm ocular or reduction lenses, and direct C-mount coupling. The port is height-adjustable to aid in parfocal adjustments.
The digital camera captures still images and video, and allows you to view a live stream on your PC. With software available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, it's a multi-platform imaging solution. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version with limited processing features.
