This is a trinocular compound microscope designed for biological applications. Ideally suited for classrooms and clinics, the microscope is built to hold up to regular use. The high-grade achromatic optics produce extremely sharp images with essential color-corrections for improved resolving power. The Siedentopf head offers easy interpupillary adjustment, and a diopter provides further adjustment for multiple users. The trinocular photo-port is designed for mounting a camera, with height adjustment to keep the camera in focus with the eyepieces. 23mm reduction lenses can be used for mounting and optimizing microscope cameras, or the removable C-mount adapter can be used for direct attachment.
The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. The reversed orientation is less obtrusive than forward-facing turrets, providing more working room over the stage. Additional 16X eyepieces extend the maximum magnification to 1600X, and 8 distinct levels of magnification to cover a wide range of specimens. The high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The double-layer stage provides smooth movement over X and Y axes for reliable examination of specimen slides. Coaxial coarse and fine focus knobs are mounted on both sides, and provide precise control over focus. The focus knobs have adjustable tension for a custom feel. The stage's height-limit can be adjusted to prevent damage to the lenses and specimens of different thickness. LED illumination minimizes power usage, and keeps temperatures low even at the maximum brightness.
