The AF408 takes a big step forward, bringing 4K Ultra HD resolution and auto-focus functionality to your microscopy system. With four times the resolution of 1080p HD, this camera will provide sharper images with greater detail on 4K displays. Well suited for compound and stereo microscopes, the AF408 will provide real time video over HDMI to a monitor or television at a smooth 60fps. Whether you're working in quality control or monitoring a long term experiment, you can watch with unrivaled clarity.
The camera is equipped with a highly-responsive, internal auto-focus motor, ideal for examining topological features of PCBs and similar objects. Set the camera to auto-focus mode and let the camera do the focusing. An adjustable ROI (region of interest) can be used to maintain focus on a specific area to streamline the workflow.
The camera uses a standard C Mount interface to connect to a wide range of microscopes and lenses. For microscopes with 23mm photo ports, you can pair the camera with an optional 0.5X reduction lens to optimize the field-of-view.
4X the Resolution of HD
4K UHD has4 times the resolution of 1080p HD. The 2160p standard provides 3840x2160 pixels for sharper images with greater detail.
Auto Focus
Internal auto focussimplifies workflows by adjusting focus for you. This pairs well with stereo and single-lens zoom microscopes for soldering, QC inspection, dissecting, and more.
