AmScope, FL-LED5-820, Multi-LED Fluorescence Illuminator with Touchscreen Controls for FM820T Microscope
The pinnacle of fluorescence-excitation has been achieved with multi-band LED Exciter. The FL-LED5-820 uses the highest-quality, highest-precision LEDs to optimize excitation across all of the appropriate bands. By using LEDs instead of fluorescent or incandescent light-sources, the long warm-up and cool-down times are no longer needed, nor the handling precautions. Even more importantly, LEDs are tuned to target the appropriate excitation bands with maximum output, and do not suffer from the extreme peaks and troughs characteristic of fluorescent light-sources such as HBO arc-lamps. The independent bands are controlled by an intuitive touch-screen interface, with multi-step output to avoid bleaching.
