This high-quality microscope is designed for professional jewelers and gemologists. It includes a 3.5X-90X super widefield zoom stereo microscope head, 3D je-welry/gem clamp (tweezers), a rotatable round stage with darkfield iris condenser, a professional GEM stand and, a high-resolution 3MP digital camera. It offers an 8" (200mm) working distance, a 2-1/2" (65mm) super wide field of view, and a 26:1 large zoom magnification range. The microscope is illuminated with a 30W darkfield halogen light built into the base and a 7W gooseneck rectangular fluorescent incident light box, providing a rich spectrum, high-temperature color, and close-to-day light illumination. The incident light box shines light down onto objects, used to observe the surface details and fine structures of jewels or gemstones. The transmitted light through the darkfield condenser is designed for the examination of the inside quality of dia-monds. The digital camera captures still images and video and allows you to view a live stream on your PC.
This focusing block provides coarse and fine focusing control for stereo microscopes and other viewing devices when used with compatible support systems such as table stands and boom-arm stands. The 76mm mounting collar accepts a wide range of microscope models from various brands. Optional adapters such as the AD-SZ76 allow single-lens microscopes designed for 50mm collars to be mounted. The block can be mounted to 32mm (1-1/4") pillars used by popular support systems including SAW and DAW boom-arm stands.
Unlike other focusing blocks, this model provides both coarse and fine focusing using coaxial control knobs. At low magnifications, coarse focusing is sufficient to achieve proper focus. At higher magnifications, especially when using a camera for digital imaging, fine focusing allows far more precision.
The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended depth of focus. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version with limited processing features. This microscope is manufactured under the strict guidelines established under ISO 9001:2000 Standards.
