The HD428 brings 4K Ultra-HD resolution and the high performance of back-illuminated CMOS technology to your microscopy system. With four times the resolution of 1080p HD, this camera will provide sharper images with greater detail on 4K displays. Well suited for compound and stereo microscopes, the HD408 will provide real time video over HDMI to a monitor or television at a smooth 60fps. Whether you're working in quality control or monitoring a long term experiment, you can watch with unrivaled clarity.
Back-illuminated CMOS
The highly-sensitive BSI CMOS sensor uses a, more-efficient design to capture more light for improved detail and color. The back-illuminated sensor allows you to push the sensitivity much farther without degrading the image, resulting in faster captures and better overall results. This makes the sensor ideal for lower-emission fluorescence and other low-light applications.
Flexible Imaging Solution
A powerful image capture system lies at your fingertips. The HD428's internal recording system allows you to capture 4K videos and photos up to 8.3MP. The camera can record to Secure Digital media or a USB flash drive, eliminating the need for a computer. Built-in software provides image processing and measurement tools for a complete standalone experience. Alternatively, you can connect the camera through USB, LAN or wi-fi, and control and capture with your PC. Dedicated microscopy software provides an expansive range of professional tools, including time lapse, stitching, and focus stacking. Now, anyone on the network can access the camera for a level of convenience.
The camera uses a standard C Mount interface to connect to a wide range of microscopes and lenses. For microscopes with 23mm photo ports, you can pair the camera with an optional 0.75X lens to optimize the field-of-view.
4X the Resolution of HD
4K UHD has 4 times the resolution of 1080p HD. The 2160p standard provides 3840x2160 pixels for sharper images with greater detail.
Network Connectivity
Connect to your local network using wi-fi or gigabit lan control and capture using powerful microscopy software. The camera can broadcast its own wi-fi network or connect to an existing network using DHCP or manual configurations.
Multi-function USB
Connect to your PC directly through USB 3.0, or over wi-fi using the included adapter. The USB 3.0 port also supports USB media such as flash drives and card readers.
Stand-alone Mode
Using an HDMI-compatible display, the camera can operate in standalone mode using built-in tools for capturing and editing images and video.
Imaging Software
Connected to your PC, the camera works with included microscopy software with an extensive set of professional tools.
