The SE508 offers quick, hassle-free magnification for a wide range of applications including soldering, engraving, dissection, and repair. Its simplicity is its greatest strength, offering low-power stereo magnification and the incredible flexibility of a gooseneck in such a compact form. Especially popular in dental labs and workshops, it can fit in virtually any workspace without being obstructive.
The objective lenses provide 0.8X primary magnification, which is increased by the included 10X and 20X eyepieces to 8X and 16X respectively. This can cover a wide range of subjects, like PCBs and small electronics, watches, coins, and biological or geological specimens.
The gooseneck arm can be bent in any direction to position the head at the desired angle. The head has a revolving mechanism that allows it to be rotated 360° to re-orient the oculars. The weighted base provides all the stability necessary to prevent tipping over.
