This stereo microscope is designed for laboratory use, including fertilization. The modified base and lighting provide crucial illumination to facilitate work such as embryo-transplantation. The dual-purpose illuminator can be used as both a transmitted and reflected light source. By mounting the lamp to the sub-stage base, light can be transmitted through the specimen at various angles to create oblique lighting. This crucial feature helps outline translucent membranes with shadows, creating the detail needed to perform injections. Additionally, the lamp can be mounted on a separate base for reflected top-lighting. A flexible arm allows easy adjustment of the height and angle.
This is one of the industry's most reliable stereo microscopes. Its high-quality optics produce stunning contrast and accurate colors with a viewing area of up to 28.6mm. The 6.4:1 parfocal zoom range provides magnifications up to 45X while maintaining a 4" working distance. Interchangeable eyepieces and auxiliary lenses can increase the magnification up to 225X. Rotating interpupillary adjusters provide a custom fit for each user, and built-in left and right diopters ensure sharp focus for users with certain vision impairments. Comfort is further enhanced by the 45°., viewing angle, as well as high-eyepoint eyepieces which accommodate glasses and goggles.
This microscope package includes a 14MP USB 3.0 digital camera with full-featured imaging software. The camera mounts to a dedicated photo-port, allowing you to easily switch to the camera. The switched photo-port transfers 100% of the left objective lens' light to the camera when in use, guaranteeing maximum brightness. The camera is controlled by specialized microscopy software, which provides a live view from the camera, and captures photos and videos. A comprehensive set of editing and measurement tools are provided. The Windows version of the software also includes tools for gridded counting, fluorescence color mapping, and time-lapse capture.
The sturdy, track-style stand uses a fully-integrated focusing rack for precise positioning. Focusing tension can be adjusted for improved smoothness or increased hold. The surfaces have been treated with an enamel coating to make cleanup easier and prolong the instrument's life.
