The T440Q-INF introduces an infinity-corrected optical system to the 440 series microscope line. This upgraded optical system ensures accurate and consistent magnification, and avoids spherical abberations when filters and other acessories are introduced into the optical path. This microscope is ideal for higher education, veterinary labs, and medical practices.
The quintuple objective turret provides instant access to 5 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X when used with the 10X eyepieces. Additional 20X eyepieces extend the maximum magnification to 2000X, and 8 distinct levels of magnification to cover a wide range of specimens. The high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy. Aplanatic corrections improve edge-to-edge sharpness across the entire field of view.
For viewing comfort, the oculars are angled at 30°, and use compensation-free Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment. The head can be rotated 360° for variable viewing angles. For imaging, the head uses a trinocular profile, with a top-mounted photo port for stability. The standard 23mm mount can be used with virtually any microscope cameras on the market, supporting a range of reduction lenses, and relay lenses for SLRs.
Coaxial focusing and stage movements are strategically placed to be highly intuitive while viewing specimens. The daylight-balanced LED, and high-numerical-aperture Abbe condenser provide high resolution illumination with natural colors. The addition of a centerable field diaphragm in the illuminator allows for better light-control and higher contrast.
