The T670Q-PL is designed to be a fully-scalable and economical laboratory microscope. This model is adorned with professional features. Its infinity-corrected optical system ensures reliable, low-distortion magnification, with plan-achromatic corrections for accurate colors, excellent field flatness and edge-to-edge sharpness. A quintuple lens-turret is used, providing five levels of magnification. The Koehler-design LED illumination system provides bright, evenly-distributed light for maximum contrast and definition.
The microscope's head is designed for precision and comfort. The super-widefield optics provide a larger field-of-view so you can see more specimen at any magnification. Compensation-free Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment allows any user to properly align the oculars without readjusting focus. For users with astigmatism or asymmetrical vision, both eyepieces can be independently adjusted to fine-tune focus. The switched trinocular port provides a dedicated mount for a camera to record photos or videos, and is height-adjustable to match focus with the eyepieces. The port uses a 23mm YX-type interchangeable interface which can be replaced with an optional C-mount adapter.
The quintuple objective turret provides instant access to 5 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. This covers magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, soil, and bacteria. The turret's reversed orientation provides more working room above the stage. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy, with planatic flat-field correction to provide edge-to-edge sharpness.
The 2-layer mechanical stage provides smooth and precise movement for examination of specimen slides. The stage's low-position controls are conveniently placed near the coaxial focus knobs for a streamlined workflow. Examining specimen slides is intuitive and precise for users at any skill level.
Built on Koehler illumination principals, the sub-stage lighting provides evenly-distributed light for optimal contrast. The LED light-source ensures cool, energy-efficient illumination with low heat for live specimens. The bright light-source is daylight-balanced to produce natural colors for imaging. The Abbe light condenser has a high 1.25 numerical aperture for oil-immersion, and an iris diaphragm to optimize contrast and depth-of-field. The condenser holder uses rack-and-pinion height adjustment for precision control, and is centerable for proper alignment. The illuminator's field lens provides an iris diaphragm to control light-spread, optimizing contrast and definition in specimen features.
This microscope comes with an HDMI-capable digital camera, delivering 1080p video up to 60fps, and 2MP still images, even in low light. The highly-sensitive digital sensor makes this camera ideal for low-light applications, including darkfield and fluorescence. Able to be used as a standalone recording device using Secure Digital memory, or as a wi-fi camera on a networked computer, this is an extremely flexible imaging solution.
Connected to an HDMI monitor or TV, 1080p live video can be viewed at a super-smooth 60fps. The included USB mouse allows you to make adjustments in the internal software for settings such as white-balance and exposure, and control recording functions. As an alternative solution, connect to the camera over WiFi for remote software control, with 25fps streaming.
