This is a continuous-zoom stereo microscope with a wide 6X-50X magnification range. The .6-5X zoom objective features bilateral control knobs with defined stops for easily finding magnifications. A dedicated, switched C-mount photo-port allows for permanent mounting of an imaging system, with a robust photo platform promoting stable imaging. Sub-stage and top-mounted LED illumination provide both transmitted and reflected light-sources for a wide range of applications. Independent variable-intensity control-dials provide flexibility.
The 3.1MP USB 2.0 camera is ideal for inspection applications, featuring frame-rates up to 83fps. The C-mount camera adds high-speed video and still-image capabilities when used with your computer. Using the USB interface for both connectivity and power, only a single cable is needed.
With software available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, this camera package is a multi-platform imaging solution. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while simultaneously capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.
