This is a continuous-zoom stereo microscope with a wide 6X-50X magnification range. The .6-5X zoom objective features bilateral control knobs with stops. A dedicated, switched C-mount photo-port allows for permanent mounting of an imaging system. Sub-stage and top-mounted LED illumination provide both transmitted and reflected light-sources for a wide range of applications. Independent variable-intensity control-dials provide flexibility.
The 1080p camera can be connected to an HDMI monitor or TV for live 1080p video at a super-smooth 60fps. As an alternative solution, connect to the camera over WiFi for remote software control, with 25fps streaming. As well as capturing 1080p video, it can capture still images up to 5MP. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.
