Adjustable Dimensions
The Flexx incorporates many adjustable features to improve comfort, support, and mobility such as adjustable backrest angle, backrest height, seat depth, and rear wheel axle position, etc.
Adjustable Rear Wheel Axle
By changing the position of the rear wheel axle, you change the center of gravity of the wheelchair and thus changing the performance of the wheelchair. Moving the rear wheels back will increase the base area, therefore making the chair the most stable. Moving the rear wheels forwards will decrease the base area, allowing the caster to roll and swivel more easily. The ideal position is based on the individual's weight, height, and strength. By changing the center of gravity, the Flexx can be configured to meet the preference of the user.
Adjustable Flip-Back Armrests
The height of the armrest is adjustable. A proper armrest height is helpful to relieve loads on the neck, shoulders, and arms and alleviate stress on the back. The flip-back feature makes it easy to get in and out of the wheelchair or roll closer to a table or desk.
Full Range of Arm Support
The Flexx has four armrests to choose from Standard, Ergo Armpad 2, Boat Armpad, and Hemi Armpad. Get the Boat Armpad for the extra length and width or the Hemi Armpad for the extra curved cut and the rotating comfort. All armrests retain the ability to flip back completely.
Full Range of Leg / Foot Support
The Amputee footrest is height, angle, and depth adjustable for the perfect support. 90-degree Legrest & Adjustable Footplate - The footplate can be set to multiple different positions and angles. Angle Adjustable Footplate - The footplate can be angled from 70 degrees to 110 degrees.
