The B400 is a professional compound microscope designed for general biology in a professional setting or a classroom. Its high-quality optics and precision mechanics have made this model a favorite for veterinarians and clinics.
The binocular head can be customized for each user, with a sliding interpupillary adjuster for varying eye spacing, and diopters for both eyes to fine-tune focus for nearsighted users and asymmetry. The head can be rotated 360°, and has a 45° incline for viewing while seated or standing. Interchangeable eyepieces allow for an expanded magnification range, or the use of special eyepieces with pointers and measuring reticles.
The objective turret provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X easily. This covers the magnifications needed for studying hair follicles, cells, and bacteria. These high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
