This biological compound microscope sports a built in 3MP USB digital camera, and a classic design including all of the functions and features expected of a professional level microscope. It includes a convenient 3D double layer mechanical stage, both coarse and fine focusing adjustments, and a convenient built in LED illumination system. It also comes with your standard set of achromatic objectives--a 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x oil immersion lens. For maximizing comfort, the ocular tube is angled at 45 degrees.
The built in camera captures still images, streams a live video feed to your computer, or records video, and is compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8, and Mac OS X 10.6.8 and higher. The software is user friendly, and includes many useful features such as stitching, extended depth of focus (EDF), video recording, and on screen measurement functions. Also included are image editing and processing functions, similar to Photoshop.
