The AmScope 20MP MU2003 is part of back-illuminated CMOS camera series. Back-illuminated CMOS sensors provide higher quantum efficiency by moving the photo-diode layer in front of the electronic components, increasing photon absorption. This allows a much higher gain with minimal image noise. Images can be captured with shorter exposure times and faster frame rates. The high-resolution sensor captures incredible detail with accurate colors. This camera pairs especially well with stereo microscopes used for quality control.
The included software for Windows allows you to make notes, shapes, and watermarks with ease. You can analyze, present, and share images of samples and specimens by simply plugging one end into your computer's USB3.0 port and the other into your microscope's eyepiece or trinocular port. Featuring built-in C-mount compatibility and a 23mm reduction lens adapter, camera can be attached to any instrument with a C-mount or a 23mm, 30mm, or 30.5mm photo port. The camera is equipped with a CMOS color sensor and comes with a high-speed USB cord, four mounting sizes (23mm, 30mm, 30.5mm, and C-mount), and instructions.
