Optics
The stereo optics provide clear, sharp images with excellent focus-depth and a large working-distance. with 0.7X-4.5X zoom objectives, moving through the magnification range is as easy as turning a knob. 10X and 20X eyepieces are included, as well as 0.5X and 2X Barlow lenses to provide an expanded magnification range from 3.5X-180X, with high-eyepoint optics to accommodate glasses or goggles.
Ocular Adjustment
Dual ocular diopters can be adjusted to maintain consistent focus, greatly improving productivity. Rotating interpupillary adjusters simplify the process of aligning the eyepieces for each user.
Trinocular Port
The switched trinocular photo-port provides a dedicated mount for a camera. When the photo-port is switched open, all light from the left objective is diverted to the port to provide maximum brightness for the camera to guarantee the best quality images. This microscope uses CX series trinocular port, so it can be easily replaced with optional C-mount ports to match specific cameras.
Double-arm Boom-Stand
The multi-pivoting, double-arm stand provides a stable, flexible support system, ideal for hands-on work. Use of a drop-down column allows the head to be positioned at virtually any angle. Ball-bearings provide smooth movement of the lateral arms, which can easily pivot the microscope out of the way when it is not needed. The heavy, steel base ensures the stability of the microscope, even when laden with attachments.
Digital Imaging
This microscope comes with an HDMI-capable digital camera, delivering 1080p video up to 60fps, and 5MP still images. The highly-sensitive digital sensor makes this camera ideal for low-light applications, including dark-field and fluorescence. Able to be used as a standalone recording device using Secure Digital memory, or as a WiFi camera on a networked computer, this is an extremely flexible imaging solution.
Connected to an HDMI monitor or TV, 1080p live video can be viewed at a super-smooth 60fps. The included USB mouse allows you to make adjustments in the internal software for settings such as white-balance and exposure, and control recording functions. As an alternative solution, connect to the camera over WiFi for remote software control, with 25fps streaming. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. with the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.

This package includes a 144-LED ring-light with quadrant-control for bright and cool illumination. This lightweight illuminator mounts to the microscope's objective housing, and projects a smooth, encompassing field of light over objects, eliminating most shadows. When you need some shadows to bring out more details, the power-controller provides control over fsubdivisions to manipulate the directionality of the light. You can cast light from the top, bottom, or either side in order to bring out the necessary topological details. Whether used as the sole light-source or in combination with additional illuminators, the ring-light produces a crucial light pattern for virtually any application.
