This economical trinocular biological compound microscope has some high-end features, such as wide-field optics, compensation-free interpupillary adjustment, a centerable condenser, and LED illumination. The wide-field optical system uses a larger light path, viewed with 30mm eyepieces. This results in a larger field-of-view, which means more of the specimen can be viewed. The addition of a trinocular photo-port provides a separate, stable platform for imaging without replacing an eyepiece.
The reversed objective turret is less obstructive than conventional forward turrets, and provides instant access to 4 magnification levels to easily focus in on minute details from 40X to 1000X. The high-quality lenses are achromatically corrected to improve resolution and color accuracy.
The LED illumination provides neutral, daylight-balanced light with low thermal output. This can be beneficial when working with live cells or other heat-sensitive materials. The Abbe condenser uses an easy-to-turn aperture dial with marked graduation for precise light control. The centerable condenser holder allows adjustment of the axial center, which will maximize the intensity and distribution of light.
