Features:

• General purpose column having a PTFE stopcock and a top Rodaviss® outer joint.
• Can be used as a gravity eluted column or a flash column (as described by W.C. Still, M. Kahn and A. Mitra of Columbia University in Journal of Oranic Chemistry 43, 2923 [1978], and covered in U.S. Patent Number 4,293,422 dated October 6, 1981) when used with CG-1195 flow controller and CG-1194 reservoir.
• Column is constructed using medium wall tubing.
• Glass wool (not supplied) is used to support column packing.
• Lower end of the column has a round bottom.
• Connections between the column, reservoir and flow control adapter are made using Rodaviss® joints.
• The unique design of the Rodaviss® joint affords a grease free seal while holding glassware together without clamps.
• Column is supplied complete with a CG-182 open top cap and o-ring.
