The BenchMark is a bench top vial seal crimping device that is designed to provide precise and highly repeatable quality crimps. Crimp pressure and head heights can be easily adjusted to accommodate a variety of vial sizes and seal types. These settings can easily be recorded for Quality Control measures as well as to reduce setup times for subsequent production runs. Unlike most bench top crimpers currently on the market, the BenchMark is designed to apply downward pressure on the vial during the crimp cycle. The downward pressure ensures that the seal is completely in contact with the lip of the vial, and maximizes the proper wrap of the aluminum skirt, effectively sealing the cap in place.
The BenchMark is constructed of high quality highly toleranced parts. All surfaces are corrosion resistant by employing specific steel types (Stainless Steel) and/or by Electroless Nickel plating all exposed surfaces. The assembled unit will provide reliable and accurate operation for many years of service.
