Features:
- Maximum water submersion: The Splash submerses you to be less than 3" off the tub floor. This allows you to get maximum water coverage for comfort and hygiene.
- Peace of mind: In choosing Lumex Splash you will be choosing a well-made bath lift that has been built to comply with safety standards and undergo rigorous testing for reliability. The battery and remote are waterproof and can be submerged safely in the water.
- Easy to use: To operate your bath lift, lightly depress the button for the chosen direction of travel. To stop the bath lift, at any time release the button. The slim remote with large buttons is easy to use even if you have small hands or limited dexterity. Plus the remote has StopDescent™ safety technology built in. The remote will prevent you from entering the water if the battery's charge is too low to lift you back out of the tub.
- Lightweight and budget-friendly: The Splash is the lightest bath lift in the U.S. which means it's easier to install and remove leaving the tub free for other users. Because it's so compact and has fewer moving parts than other bath lifts it is better on your budget than other models. Plus, it is less expensive than retrofitting your bathroom with a walk-in bathtub.
- Optimum leg room: The Splash has a fixed back design which means you will have more leg room than many other lifts. Reclining lifts have to be moved for the ward in the bath tub to allow enough space to r ecline which causes you to lose valuable space.
Many seniors and others with limited mobility have difficulty getting in and out of a bathtub. Some of them give up on taking baths or accept some humility in having a caregiver assist them.
Bath time just got easier!
The Lumex Splash bath lift allows people with limited mobility to enjoy the therapeutic effects of bathing again without the cost or disruption of having to remodel. Plus, it can provide a level of independence in the bathroom that's been missing.
What does a bath lift do?
As the name suggests, it's a battery-powered seat that gently lowers you into and lifts you out of the bath water. The bath lift securely attaches to the bottom of the bathtub with the use of strong suction cups. In the highest position, the bath lift has a transfer flap that supports you and helps you to get from the edge of the tub to the middle of the seat. Once on the seat, you simply use the hand control to activate the actuator that lowers the seat into or out of the water.
