AM 4 Digital is the perfect multi-position hotplate stirrer for temperature-sensitive laboratory applications where precise and accurate thermoregulation of the sample is required to ensure maximum reproducibility. The AM 4 Digital can be connected to external probes Pt100 and Pt1000 or the VTF for precise temperature control of the medium. When working with Pt100 and Pt1000 probes it is possible to achieve precise heating of the medium up to 310°C with an accuracy of ± 1.0°C. Alternatively, the VTF can thermoregulate the temperature up to 300° with an exceptional accuracy of ± 0.5°C. The exclusive CerAlTop plates, made of aluminum alloy covered with ceramic, ensure outstanding temperature homogeneity and superior resistance from chemicals and scratches.
The AM 4 Digital multi-position hot plate stirrer ensures a high level of safety and protection for laboratory operators. Insulating disks safeguard the internal electronic components, and the robust die-cast aluminum housing allows the AM 4 Digital to endure the most demanding laboratory environments and applications. Various safety functions, such as safety circuits, over-temperature protection, and probe detection alarms, protect users in their daily operations. Limiting the maximum operating temperature to meet the highest safety needs is also possible. A security message "Hot" is displayed when the temperature of the plate is above 50°C and the heating function is not active.
Thanks to four bright and easy-to-read digital displays you can constantly monitor the temperature and the stirring speed and set each position independently with the highest precision. Speed setting ranges from 50 to 1500 rpm, and with the powerful brushless motor it is possible to stir volumes up to 20 L (H2O). AM 4 Digital is equipped with VELP-engineered SpeedServo torque compensation technology that ensures constant speed even when the viscosity of the medium changes.
